What is UGrabit?＋
UGrabit lets you pre-order from your campus food stalls, get a token number and live status, and pick up your food without waiting in a queue. You pay at the counter when you collect it.
Do I pay inside the app?＋
No. UGrabit is pay-at-pickup — you pay the stall at the counter when you collect your order. There's no online payment; the app just shows your total.
How do I place an order?＋
Sign in with your @iimu.ac.in Google account, pick a stall, add items to your cart, tap 'View cart' to review, then 'Place order'. You'll get a token number and a live tracking screen.
What is the token number?＋
It's your order's queue number. Show it at the counter when your order is ready to collect. The stall and the kitchen both see the same token.
How do I know when my food is ready?＋
Your tracking screen updates live as the cook marks each item done — you can see items go from 'Preparing' to 'Ready' one by one, and a bar at the bottom of the app keeps you posted while you browse.
Can I order now but pick up later?＋
Yes. In the cart, tap 'Schedule ▾' and choose a pickup time. The stall gets it right away, but the kitchen only starts cooking shortly before your pickup time so it's fresh.
What happens if an item is out of stock?＋
Out-of-stock items are greyed out and can't be added. If a stall can't make part of your order, they can reject just those items — you'll see them marked 'Not available' and you're only charged for what's made.
How do I find veg or non-veg food?＋
Every item has a green (veg) or red (non-veg) mark. Use the All / Veg / Non-veg filter on the home screen or a stall's menu to show only what you want.
Can I save my favourite stalls?＋
Yes — tap the heart on any stall card. Your favourites move to the top of your home screen for quick access.
What's the packaging charge?＋
If you tick 'Pack this order' at checkout, a small packaging charge (₹5) is added so the stall packs it for takeaway. Leave it unticked to eat there.
Who can use UGrabit?＋
Students and faculty of IIM Udaipur, using their @iimu.ac.in Google account. Campus food stalls get their own vendor login to manage orders.
